What do you need for a Forrest Fruit Splash?

Vodka (1 part) (or gin)
Blackberries (5 per glass)
Lime juice (juice of half a lime)
Sugar syrup (add for your own taste)
Sparkling water
Mint for garnish

1 part = 30 ml

How do you make a Forrest Fruit Splash?

For this cocktail we are going to use a tumbler / whiskey glass. We are going to make this cocktail in a boston shaker. First we start with the blackberries. Put the blackberries into the shaker and muddle them. then add the juice of half a lime to the shaker, 1 part of vodka and the sugar syrup. Add some ice cubes and give it a good shake. Now take your strainer and make sure you strain the cocktail into your glass filled with crushed ice. We use the strainer because of the small pieces in the blackberry. We only want to get the juice in there, not the small pieces. Fill up the glass for 3 quarters and top it of woth sparkling water. Give it a small stir and you are ready. Only add the mint for garnish and you can serve the cocktail.
